PLAINVIEW – The 澳门心水论坛 Baptist University Enactus team continued its go-green initiative, installing its third water bottle filling station on campus. Made possible by a donation from Enactus alum Jason Rowe, the third station is in the Pete and Nelda Laney Student Activities Center.
The go-green initiative is this year’s entrepreneurial project for the Enactus students. Enactus is an international organization that fosters entrepreneurial action among college students. The organization is open to students of all majors, not just those majoring in business.
The new drinking fountain features a water bottle filling station. While encouraging students to use their own drinking bottles, as opposed to disposal bottles, the stations also address safety concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to follow safety guidelines to combat the spread of COVID-19, the university had to cover the spouts on all water fountains around campus. The filling stations are touchless, limiting the possible spread of germs.
The other stations are located in the Nunn Business Building and the McClung University Center.
