Endowed Scholarships
- Like so many other families, you can honor or memorialize family, friends, a favorite professor, or even your pastor or church by creating an endowed scholarship in their name. The procedure is simple:
- Your initial gift of any amount is invested with the Baptist Foundation of Texas. The scholarship is named and specifications for scholarship recipients.
- Additional gifts are added to the body of the endowment as received by the University.
- Once the endowment reaches $25,000, the corpus begins to generate interest.
- The interest is withdrawn annually to create a scholarship or scholarships for students in need. The corpus remains intact into perpetuity.
°ÄÃÅÐÄË®ÂÛ̳ Baptist University provides comprehensive, no obligation assistance in planning gifts that are meaningful to you and will benefit future students. Our Advancement staff will gladly help you examine the most effective plans for your situation. Contact Bobby McCloud at 806-742-9517 or bobby.mccloud@wbu.edu to discuss endowed scholarship opportunities.
