Master of Arts Human Services
The Master of Arts in Human Services degree at 澳门心水论坛 Baptist University prepares students for careers in a variety of social service systems, such as health and social services or non-profit organizations. This specialization is geared towards people who want to work in a helping profession but don't want to be licensed as an LPC or MSW. This specialization provides the flexibility to work with multiple agencies and utilize basic counseling skills, particularly in areas of victim advocacy, working with vulnerable populations, youth advocacy, behavioral health, and mental health fields. Students interested in becoming licensed professional counselors should pursue the Master of Arts in Counseling degree.

This specialization examines the connection between society and the law by exploring the relationship between social services organizations, community-based organizations, and the criminal justice system. In addition to developing a deeper understanding of how these relationships interact within society, students will be equipped to respond and advocate for positive change through advocacy and rehabilitation practices.听

The specialization equips students to respond effectively in times of crisis and connect people with community resources and services. This could include situations of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, natural and human disasters, and personal trauma.听

This specialization focuses on families and interpersonal relationships, both within the home and as a part of their community. Students will acquire skills to address the many challenges people face within relationships.
